Yellow Rose

 Yellow Rose

I called her a dolt—for fun, for no reason, of course. She paused, not sure how to react, then started typing quietly. Suddenly grinning, she said, “That’s actually so funny.” Laughing, she continues with a simple, “I like that word, you dolt.” It stuck like moss on a stone lantern; a perfect little insult that became laughable and uniquely sweet, just like her.

Neahkahnie Mountain

Staring down at a coastline, the sun shatters through the clouds, showcasing mist and terrane. Trees near, in front, and to the sides shown dark green, the rocks at my feet mark the summit or a viewpoint from the perspective of a mountain. Waves break in the distance, and a road runs through a coastal town. Streams and lakes around the hills and trees below. The beam of light contrasts the dark clouds and trees above and below, making this photo worthy of posting.

This photo showcases a place I've been to twice: the top of Neahkahnie Mountain, which overlooks the city of Manzanita. It showcases my love for nature and natural elements (water, trees, rocks, mountains, hills, clouds, sun, lakes, etc.). It's a good reminder of what I love about this world, and I also had some delicious food after this.

Gray Skies and Pink Blossoms

Grass Grows Green, Mud Deepens

throwing rain with it

Minutes Pass
the wind takes a pause,

Peace.
