Because I am a man, I write from the perspective of always being right in what I say. My opinion is better and makes logical sense than those of the female gender, who write based on emotion rather than reason. I love to speak of my achievements and build myself up through my writing. I love expressing who I want to be through my manly characters. My male characters get all the women they want and become spies and high-ranking officials just by being men. I have authority based on my biological structure as a stronger individual than the natural. Women are weaker and more emotional, and they write as such.
Well, in all honesty, that could not be further from the truth. My gender does not affect how I write or how I want to write. If I were a woman, I would write the same way I do now, although my personal experiences would be different. I don’t think gender should play any role whatsoever when it comes to our writing. Our individual experiences and personalities determine our writing styles and skills. Writing off of emotion for a creative piece can become a beautiful creation. I never think of my gender playing a part in how I write and why I write like I do.
Man and Woman are created in God's image; we have our differences, but we can both be creative in glorifying God in our writings.
